The Pillbox Zafu is a simplified version of buckwheat zafu, without the pleats -- will hold its height and won't spread out to the same width as the standard buckwheat zafu.
 
Zafu:

buckwheat hulls, in a closed inner lining
can be shaped to fit your needs
