The eldest son and spiritual successor of
Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche is the holder of the Shambhala Buddhist tradition, as well as the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibet. Educated in Buddhist meditation, philosophy, and ritual, as well as calligraphy, poetry and archery, Sakyong Mipham was raised in both Eastern and Western traditions and is also an accomplished marathon runner. He teaches throughout the world.
