Zabutons from Zen
The Zabuton Meditation Cushion made by us here in Vermont. Our Zabuton is the meditation mat that sits under a meditation cushion (like the zafu above) or meditation bench. The Zabuton serves as a cushion for the knees and ankles on siting meditation. Zabutons are sold both with and without a removable, washable, cover. Fabric choices include 100% cotton, poly-cotton, or 100% organic cotton twill (available on the covered Zabuton only). For Zabuton covers click here.
Our Zabuton (27" x 33") has a 4.5" loft suitable for most practitioners. Our Large Zabuton Cushion is the same thickness (4.5") but makes more room for longer legs (30"x33").Our Zabuton Cushion with a 2.5" loft is recommended as the Zabuton for our Meditation Benches. Organic Zabuton Covers are available. Use the Zabuton as the meditation mat for the Zafu Cushion, Gomden or a Meditation Bench.
